In 2010, IYF and USAID launched the Youth:Work Mexico program to prepare young people to become healthy, productive, and active citizens. This video case study documents the program’s impact on one of its graduates: José María (Chema) Sonora Franco, who grew up in a marginalized community of Ciudad Juarez. The video traces Chema’s journey through the program, including the life and technical skills training and career planning assistance he received and the program’s unique youth-to-youth approach.
